Glen is a Chartered Manager and safety and risk professional with experience in high risk industries, including solvent based manufacturing and continuous operations. He holds an MSc in Safety and Risk Management from Heriot-Watt University, completed with Merit, and has completed NEBOSH process safety management training.
His experience covers health, safety and environmental management, fire risk, workplace assessments, auditing, incident investigation and training. Working in environments involving flammable substances has also given him practical experience of process safety and DSEAR, the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations. This background informs his understanding of fire and explosion hazards and the importance of effective controls.
Making safety easier to manage
We help small and medium businesses understand their responsibilities and simplify safety compliance. That means turning complex requirements and technical findings into clear priorities, straightforward processes and proportionate actions, without unnecessary paperwork.
We work with business owners, managers and frontline teams to understand how work happens in practice. Our advice reflects the people, tasks and pressures within each organisation, helping clients put workable controls in place and keep improvements on track.
Developing people and strengthening safety culture
Alongside consultancy and competent person support, we deliver practical health, safety and fire training, including manual handling, risk assessment, COSHH awareness and live fire extinguisher training.
Our behavioural safety, culture change and leadership sessions help leaders and teams improve safety conversations, build trust, encourage people to speak up and turn shared expectations into everyday working practices.
Our aim is straightforward: help businesses manage risk, protect their people and make safety a practical part of running their business.
